The Vedic Temple of Virginia is the first Hindu Temple started in Northern Virginia as a place to Worship all Hindu dieties and a spiritual resource for the Hindu Community living in the Surrounding areas. We seek to educate children about Hindu Culture and religion , represent the Hindu Community in interfaith settings and introduce those of other faiths to the rich Hindu culture. We have services throughout the week including weekends for family prayer and spritual education. We also host vocal and instrumental concerts, and Indian classical dance performances. Sri Acharya is trained in religious Vedic rituals and specialized in 'Pancharatra Agama,Archakatwam and Pourohityam'. He has been a Vedic priest for several years in India and in the United States. He has served at Sri Shiva Vishnu Temple (SSVT) in Maryland and at the Veda Akama Sudha in Albany, NY. He has performed many Raja Gopura Kumbha Abhishekas , Mahotsavasand Pratishtabhanas. Sri Acharya is multi-lingual and proficient in English and several Indian Languages.
